Denise Fahrenbruch CCC, CCE, MA

Chef Denise Fahrenbruch is a cooking fanatic and loves sharing her knowledge with others. She has been a chef in the making her entire life. Her passion is in working with any vegetable or fruit that has come from the farmer’s field to her kitchen.

Currently, Denise is currently the instructor for the Saginaw Career Complex in Saginaw, Michigan.

Greetings Culinarians, Chefs, Students, Family, and Friends,


The ACF Flint-Saginaw Valley Chapter is dedicated to advancing and promoting professionalism, leadership, and collaboration among culinary professionals Did you know that as Chefs we have a code to follow? I have been asked why as a chef we some of the things we do by a young chef and here is the answer to this question.

 
The Culinarians’ Code​
As a proud member of the American Culinary Federation, I pledge to share my professional
knowledge and skill with all culinarians. I will place honor, fairness, cooperation and consideration first when dealing with my colleagues. I will keep all comments professional and respectful when dealing with my colleagues. I will protect all members from the use of unfair means, unnecessary risks and unethical behavior when used against them for another’s personal gain. I will support the success, growth, and future of my colleagues and this great federation.

 

Living this code is not always easy, but it is what makes us all Chefs!


Thank You to Chef Tyler Stark and Chef Lance Buchinger, CSC for providing an evening of aloha spirit and culinary creativity at Te Fiti Tiki — Frankenmuth’s newest tropical escape! ​The island-inspired shared plates crafted to highlight bold flavors, fresh ingredients, and Polynesian flair were FABULOUS!
 

Thank you to Peter Hardy of Michigan Clear Ice, who shared insight into the craft and precision behind premium ice.


Our next meeting will be hosted by the Culinary Students and Chef Fahrenbruch at the Saginaw Career Complex on November 10, 2025. You can purchase tickets from the button on the home page of this website until 5pm on November 7, 2025.


We will be holding Nominations for the Chapter Chef of the Year and all Elected Chapter Officers for the 2026 - 2027 term at the November 10, 2025, meeting.
