Happy holidays to you and yours. Our annual awards banquet and installation of chapter officers will be held on Monday February 13th hosted by Chefs Matt Cooper CEC, Bill Crawford CEC, AAC, Mark Handy CEC, Dave Miller CEPC and Doug St. Souver at Mott Community College. The cost for this meeting will be 20.00 per person please RSVP to Chef Bill Crawford CEC, AAC by email at chefbill12@gmail.com or by phone at 1-810-232-6956 please include in your message your name and number of guest that will be attending.
If you are a paid member you should have already received your chef of the year ballot by US mail. If you are a paid member and for some reason haven't already received your ballot please contact Chef Rob Waskoviak CEC by email at robwas@poetworld.net so that he can include you to our US postal mailing list and send you out your ballot. With that said your votes are important to those running for this award if you haven't already returned your ballot do it today. Please look over the chefs bios at our local website ACF-Flint-Saginaw.org . Remember for your vote to count ballots must be post marked by no later than January 2nd.

For those still interested in competing in our 20th annual hot food competition at Zehnders on Monday January 30th 2012 available time and space are very limited get your recipe submitted today. Remember the early bird always gets the worm and it looks as though its going to be another year were some competitors will be turned away. If you are in need of a set of rules and application for the event you can find them on our local website at acf-flint-saginaw.org For those interested in purchasing tickets which would make great stocking stuffers for those foodies you know please contact Chef John Zehnder at John.Zehnder@zehnders.com
We are currently seeking meeting hosts and speekers for our 2012 meeting dates if you are interested in hosting a meeting or speeaking at one of our meetings on an educational topic. Please contact me at pfahrenbruch@charter.net I would be glad to put you into our rotation.
