Greetings Culinarians, Chefs, Students, Family, and Friends,
Thank you to the Sponsors for the 2025 Professional Chef Hot Food Competition.
The support of these sponsors truly make this event happen. Plans for the 2026 Professional Chef Hot Food Competition are already in progress. Please reach out to a board member if you would like to be involved in the 2026 competition.
Did you know that as Chefs we have a creed or a code to follow?
I have been asked why as a chef we do some of the things we do by a young chef and here is the answer to this question.
Culinarians’ Code
As a proud member of the American Culinary Federation,
pledge to share my professional knowledge and skill with all culinarians. I will place honor, fairness, cooperation and consideration first when dealing with my colleagues. I will keep all comments professional and respectful when dealing with my colleagues. I will protect all members from the use of unfair means, unnecessary risks and unethical behavior when used against them for another’s personal gain. I will support the success, growth, and future of my colleagues and this great federation.
Living this code is not always easy, but it is what makes us all Chefs!
The Flint Saginaw ACF Chapter is built on this code and sharing it is the first step in creating a strong and growing chapter.
The next member meeting will be on:
April 14, 2025
Dinner at 6:30 with meeting to follow.
Tom Wood Catering will be hosting the meeting.

The April member meeting will be an EGGcellent evening about eggs.
Tom Wood will also be speaking on how to obtain the Alcohol Server certification provided by the Michigan License and Beverage Association.

Tickets will need to be purchased by April 11, 2025 at 5PM.
